Susanna Nicol is a child emotional intelligence specialist and the founder of EQ for kidz, a customized coaching program designed to support children ages 4 to 12 and their parents to cultivate emotional intelligence skills. She created this program based on her educational background in early childhood education and developmental psychology and a dream to make EQ education accessible to all.
Through her extensive experience working with children in schools and in homes, she observed an important piece of children’s intelligence missing in education – the ability to cope with hard feelings, be a kind friend, persevere through hardships, and understand and empathize with others.
Susanna not only understands the science behind emotions, but also how to coach practical tools and strategies to develop EQ in the early years – when it matters most. Through EQ for kidz, she aims to help all different kinds of families connect, empower, and thrive!
